I attended the workshop 'Frontiers in Studies of Earthquakes and Faults' at SUSTech in Shenzhen, China from November 27 - December 1, 2017. Many good scientists were attending the conference, so it was a perfect opportunity to get to know these famous professors and show them my own work. During my poster presentation, I had some interesting discussions that will undoubtedly be reflected in the paper draft that I am writing. The field trip on the last day of the conference was a great way to see a little bit more of China than the SUSTech campus. New friends were made and the amazing last evening where we had pizza and pasta while watching an amazing water show (I need a hero!) was the perfect end to this conference.
