As a PhD student in evolutionary ecology, I am interested in the evolution of interactions and biological entities (both molecular and organismal) along antagonism-cooperation continuums. In particular, I am interested in how cooperative interactions evolve, both within and between species. An example of this is endosymbiosis, which has played a significant role in major evolutionary transitions.
