Team Members

	Sabine Kling, PhD SNF-Ambizione Junior Group Leader Dr. Sabine Kling holds a PhD (2014) and a MSc (2011) degree in Vision Sciences, both from the University of Valladolid, Spain. In 2009, she obtained her Dipl-Ing(FH) degree in Physical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Isny, Germany. She received all three degrees with honors. During her pre-doctoral studies, Dr. Kling performed several research stays at internationally renowned laboratories, including the Wellman Center for Photomedicine (University of Harvard, Boston, USA), the Institute of Vision (University of Heraklion, Crete, Greece) and the Institute for Refractive and Ophthalmic Surgery (Zurich, Switzerland). Following two postdoctoral stays at the University of Geneva (2013-2015) and the University of Zurich (2016-2017), she is currently the recipient of an SNF-Ambizione grant and leads the O.P.T.I.C. team at ETH Zurich. In 2016, Dr. Kling was honored with the Troutman Award from the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS) at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). Since 2018, she serves as an editorial board member at the Journal of Refractive Surgery.
	Hossein Khodadadi, MSc PhD candidate Mr. Hossein Khodadadi holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering (2017) from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, and another one in Instrumentation and Automation Engineering (2010) from Petroleum Universit yof Technology, Iran. He had obtained his BSc (2007) degree in Electronic Engineering from Sadjad University of Technology, Iran. Mr. Khodadadi joined the OPTIC team in 2018.
