Biography

My research interests lie mainly in the intersection of data-driven modelling and control, learning for control, and statistical inference.

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Automatic Control Laboratory (IfA) of the Swiss Federal institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ).

Before that, I held a postdoctoral researcher positions at Uppsala University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. I was awarded a Licentiate degree (teknologie licentiat) and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, respectively, both from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. I received a M.Sc. degree in Space Science and Technology from Luleå University of Technology in Sweden, and a M.Sc. (Ing.) degree in Systems and Control (with dean's prize for exceptional thesis) from the Czech Technical University in the Czech Republic. I received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering (with honours) from Helwan University in Egypt.
