I finished my masters degree in Computer Science in at the Saarland University in 2010.
During my masters, I worked as student assistant at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and
later as research assistant with the Information Systems Group.
In the following 4 years I worked as an IT-consultant, where I gathered experience amongst others in the fields of requirements engineering, business analysis and JEE-development.
In July 2014 I started working as research assistant at the GeoGazeLab of the Chair of Geoinformation Engineering at ETH Zurich and since March 2015 I am a doctoral student.
In my research I focus on means to improve pilots' spatial awareness in the cockpit. That includes supporting pilots before take-off, in-flight and in during their training.
Enhanced flight training program for monitoring aircraft automationDuring this project we will conduct eye tracking studies with professional pilots in flight simulators to analyze the effectiveness of visual scan strategies during aircraft operation. The ultimate goal is to include the obtained insights into pilot training programs.
