I was Senior Research Associate at School of Computer Science of The University of Adeladie from Nov-2013 to Dic-2015.
I was Posdoctoral Research Fellow at Computer Science Department of George Mason University from Jul-2012 to Sep-2013.
I got my PhD in the Department of Computer Science and System Engineering at the University of Zaragoza in Nov-2011. Before, I got a Master in Computer Science at the same university in the Robotics area in 2009.
I studied my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, first in my promotion, and in Electronic Engineering at the University of Los Andes (UniAndes), Colombia, both from 1999 to 2005. Later, I got my Master degree in Engineering at the same university in the Control Systems area in 2006.

- I have done a research stay in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) of the Massachusetts Intitute of Technology (MIT) under supervision of John Leonard in the Marine Robotics Group, from April to July 2010.
- I have done a research stay in the Australian Center for Field Robotics (ACFR) of the University of Sydney under supervision of Fabio Ramos in the Learning and Reasoning Group from October 2008 to January 2009.
- I have attended the SLAM Summer School in Sydney, Australia, in 2009.
- I have attended the Bayesian Cognition Winter School in Chamonix, France, in 2008.
- In 2007 the Ministry of Science and Education of Spain awarded me a scholarship FPI to study my PhD.
- Between 2006 and 2007 I was a professor in Department of Electrical and Electronical Engineering of UniAndes. I taught courses of Control Systems and of Circuits Analysis.
